The ACFP is the only Alberta
organization that exclusively represents
family physicians. The College
advocates on behalf of family physicians
and supports and facilitates continuing
medical education and primary care
research. The provincial portion of
your membership fee is forwarded to the
Alberta College of Family Physicians.
The cumulative total of these membership
fees provides the annual operating
budget for the ACFP to sustain all
services and activities on your behalf
at a provincial level.
We invite your participation in all of
the ACFP activities. The ACFP must work
collectively to ensure that the voice of
the family physician is heard, and
continue to develop the relationships
that will influence the policies and
programs affecting family physicians to
delivery quality health care to their
patients. The strength of the ACFP
resides in the commitment of the
membership.
