History

The following article chronicles the early beginnings of the Alberta College of Family Physicians (ACFP).  This article, written by Dr. M. Dolgoy, was published in Canadian Family Physician, February 1969.

The First Ten Years of the College of General Practice (Alberta Division) - M. DOLGOY, M.D.
A decade is but a brief span in the annals of an organization.  Yet, when measured in human dimensions - and an organization is but the extension of the men and women who comprise it - a decade is laden with heartbeat and hope, shadow hours of failure and the brightness of attainment.
