Committees

Our volunteer committee members provide guidance and expertise in ACFP’s activities and initiatives. The ACFP is proud to have a group of engaged and dedicated members helping advance excellence in family medicine in Alberta.

In keeping with the ACFP’s Bylaws, a Slate of Nominations for all Alberta Chapter Committees is proposed to the membership prior to the Annual General Meeting.

Board Members

The Board is a governing Board under the ACFP’s Bylaws. The responsibilities of our Board include ensuring that:

• the association is properly managed
• its property and assets are suitably cared for
• high quality services are provided to all its members

The ACFP President is also the Board Chair, and is the official spokesperson on issues that arise during and between Board meetings.
