The future of family medicine relies on our students.  The ACFP works with dedicated physicians to help students learn more about Family Medicine as a career choice.  ACFP is pleased to plan and present the following Student Initiatives:

Student Orientation

Stop by the ACFP booth during the week of Student Orientation to meet and learn what the ACFP can do for you.

Student Information Session

Twice a year (October and April), the ACFP organizes a student-family physician meet and greet luncheon.  The luncheon is a great opportunity for students to meet and speak with practicing family physicians.  The informal setting is the perfect place for students to ask doctors the really tough questions. 

Shadowing Program

Our members have a long history of sharing their knowledge with keen students, like you.  Don't miss this incredible opportunity when you shadow a family doctor around.  Learn what her day is really like and get a sense of how you can affect people’s lives.
