December 2, 2011 - New Update! The National Physician Survey (2010)
New results of the 2010 National Physician Survey (NPS) were released publicly today on www.nationalphysiciansurvey.ca . The new data
provides physician information by specialty as well as family physician/general practitioner information by sex, age group and certification.
The National Physician Survey (NPS) is Canada's most comprehensive and authoritative survey of physicians, medical students, and residents. It is conducted every three years in partnership with the Canadian Medical Association and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The data on physicians’ patterns of practice, attitudes and opinions helps shape public policy, guide decision makers, and identify trends to help plan for the future of our health care sector.
