The ACFP understands the importance of reaching out to our medical students and respects you will be the future of Family Medicine. The ACFP actively supports a student’s decision to choose his or her desired discipline by providing learning and networking opportunities in Family Medicine.

Our highly-regarded Student Shadowing program and Family doctor information sessions have a long legacy of providing the necessary on-the-job experience on what it is like to be a Family Physician.

In addition to our interactive learning experiences, the ACFP also supports medical students through various funding and sponsorship opportunities and the ACFP Student of the Year Award.
