Membership
Since its inception in 1954, the ACFP membership has reached over 3,500 members across Alberta. With a long history of dedicated, engaged and active members, ACFP members have helped shape family medicine practice in Alberta, and are committed to doing so in the years to come.
With over 28,000 members across the country, the
CFPC's increased member participation in programs of both the National College and Provincial Chapters has allowed the College to be a more effective as the voice of family medicine in Canada – recognized and regularly included at the tables of governments and the other major medical and health care stakeholders.
It is required that a physician be a member of both the National College and the Provincial Chapter. Take a look at the
